Eastern Sierra Photo Workshops
Extraordinary Photography Workshops, Tours, and Training in the Eastern Sierra
With Mount Whitney and the Alabama Hills, the sawtooth Sierra crest, Mono Lake's tufa towers and pristine reflections, and the gnarled bristlecone pines of the White Mountains, California's Eastern Sierra region is as spectacular as it is diverse—in any season. In fall the Sierra's eastern slopes are blanketed with gold, creating a landscape that borders on visual overload.
What makes these photo workshops special?
Not only do I know what I’m doing, I love what I do. And unlike many photo workshops, you'll be dealing with me, personally, from beginning to end. I'll respond to your inquiry, answer all your questions, help you prepare, and (with help from a qualified assistant) lead your workshop myself. And to keep you fresh, comfortable, private lodging (no roommates unless you choose to share with a friend or loved one) is always included.
But don’t take my word for it. If repeat business means anything, you might like to know that virtually all of my workshops fill months in advance with over 60 percent repeat customers. And if qualifications are important to you, start by reading my blog and viewing my images. If you don’t like what you see, read no further. If you do like my work, you may not even care that my photography is featured in books, magazines, art galleries, and private collections, and on calendars and greeting cards. Of more significance may be that I'm an experienced and enthusiastic trainer who loves photographing nature as much as you do. I also enjoy sharing with others the things I love to photograph, as well as sharing my personal insights on capturing great images. There are no secrets.
Put simply, my goals for each workshop are to see that you get the best images possible, and to make you a better photographer. (You’ll also meet great people and have a lot of fun.)
